Chiemsee - shipping

Passenger ships depart at regular intervals from the ports of Prien, Gstadt, Seebruck, Chieming, Übersee, and Bernau/Felden to both Herreninsel and Fraueninsel. Combined with a tour of the beautiful Herrenchiemsee Palace or a visit to the monastery on Fraueninsel, you are guaranteed to experience impressions of Chiemgau that you will never forget. The Chiemsee can also be explored quietly and environmentally friendly by electric boat. Without the noise of an engine, you can glide relaxed across the water, enjoy the view of the Alps, and comfortably reach the islands of Herrenchiemsee and Frauenchiemsee. Boat trip on the Alz

The Alz flows from Lake Chiemsee near Seebruck towards Trostberg. The Alz Canal and, above all, the Truchtlaching lido are excellent places for swimming. The slow current of the mostly natural river course and the pleasant water temperature of Lake Chiemsee make for a very special kind of swimming experience. The Seebruck Tourist Office also organizes raft trips on the Alz. A raft trip from Seebruck to Truchtlaching takes about 2 hours. Drinks are available on board. Inn River Cruise Wasserburg

A boat trip on the Inn river offers a special impression of the town of Wasserburg and the unique landscape of the Inn loop. This is where the houses built right up to the riverbank and the Innleiten come into their own.
